Missionary to China and gold medal-ist at the Olympics  “Chariots of Fi-re” tells his story. Born in China to missionary parents, he returned to China  in 1925.  In 1943 he was inter-red by the Japanese in the Weiheim prison camp where he continued to “minister” (YUCK! that makes it sound like something you DO rather than a way of living your life in Christ...)  He died shortly after the camp was liberated n 1945.
