Blessed 

  are you

      women,

             …of newly pregnant to her older and previously barren cousin Elizabeth whos now 

well along in her pregnancy with John the 

Baptist. I love that this time around the 

sun, this great feast of friendship & 

mutual support is on the heels  

of Trinity Sunday!      

And on our civil calendar 

to-day is Memorial Day 

And the 100th anniversary 

of the Tulsa massacre.

Hundreds of white men 

were deputized  - went in 

+killed the residents +  

destroyed his entire area 

of what was called “Black

Wall Street."  Today the 

FBI reports the greatest 

threat to the home;and 

to be domestic white 

supremacist groups.

The past lives + infects 

the present when  not 

reckoned with.

 

Sunday moving into evening, II Trinity 1 Visitation, a veritable cornucopia if ones not forced to choose.

 

The 

one who 

sanctifies 

and those 

who are

sanctified 

all have 

one Father.

Christ has only one mother in the flesh, 

but we all bring Christ forth t in faith.

ligious truth or a set of axioms the Christian faith 

tells a story…”  As does this magnificent picture ion  

the front page of this morning's  San Diego Union-

 Tribune showing not “the homeless” but one par-

ticular, named, homeless person and the cost of 

homelessness, whether in San Diego or refugees 

awaiting asylum or those in the the Gaza strip.  

Some would dismiss that as  “woke ” but we 

call it mature, human, Christian.

Lord

me, a prayer to the God of my life.
