Do not be afraid little flock;
it is your Father’s good pleasure
to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32

Saturday Evening Prayer

Teach us to be long-suffering
in anguish and insecurity.; teach us to wait and trust. Grant light, grant, strength and patience for all who work for peace... grant us prudence in proportion to our power,
wisdom in proportion to our science, humanness
in proportion to our wealth and might. And bless
our earnest will to help all...peoples to travel with us, along the road of justice,liberty and lasting peace.

Columba! Abbot of Ioan 597

it is
what comes
out of the mouth that defiles a person. What goes Into the mouth comes out and goes into the sewer. But if what comes out of your mouth Belongs in the sewer you're in big trouble, because what coms out of your mouth is what is in your heart.

Wednesday eve

Lay
not
up
for
yourselves
treasures
in heaven,
says
the Lord.

Antiphon: Psalm 49

Wednesday

For everything
there is a season
and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill and
a time to heal;
a time to break down
and a time to build up,
a time to weep and
a time to laugh;
a time to mourn
and a time to dance;
a time to throw away stones
and a time to gather
stones together; a time
to embrace and a time
to refrain from embracing,
a time to seek and a
time to lose, a time to keep
and a time to throw away;
a time to tear and a time to sew,
a time to keep silence
and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate.
For everything there is a season
and a time for every purpose under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
