Evening of Dec 21

Day-

 spring,

Brightness

of the Light

Eternal, and

Sun of Right-

ousness: Come

and enlighten those who

sit in darkness and the shadow of death.

The Monday before Christmas, December 21, 2020, being the Feast of St Thomas and the shortest day of the year. You can see the Great Conjunction in the southwestern sky after sunset.

_______Antiphon on the feast Psalm 121_

             The

        Lord

    will

watch over

your going

out & your

coming in,

  from this

       time

          forth

              for evermore.

 All too often the

Apostle Thomas,

whose feast it is

today, is called

“Doubting Thomas”

 because he was not

there when Jesus first

appeared to the others.

However when he did

see Jesus, he was the first to profess  “My Lord+my God.”

Sunday evening

         And this is

      the judgment,

     that  the light

     has come into

                  the

            world,

       and

people loved darkness rather than light
