Today on the Episcopal calendar we remember Nicolaus Copernicus and Johannes Kepler, 1543, who laid the groundwork for modern astronomy.

                                                                      Psalm 108:1,3

My heart is firmly, fixed,
O Lord,
my heart
is  fixed; I will sing  and make melody. For your loving-kindness
is greater than the heavens
& your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

“O God, we pray that you
would continue to ad-vance our understanding of your cosmos, to our good & to your glory….”
             Collect of the Day
