Today our Roman Catholic sisters and brothers celebrate the Immaculate Conception of "Mary, daughter pure of Holy Anne, who brought into this world the God made man " (with the help of her husband Joachim,) from the Christmas hymn "The snow lay on the ground" which I very much doubt.
