                                              A Song of Creation 

 

God saw 

everything 

that he had 

made and

behold, it 

was very good. 

                      * Why Canticle 12 on Saturdays? 

Traditionally, while Friday is the day that we commemorate the death of Jesus and Sunday is

the celebration of the resurrection, Saturday 

is the Sabbath day, when we remember that 

God rested from his labors on the seventh 

day and sanctified it as a day of rest.
