St Thomas the Apostle

  Job 42:5

I have 

heard 

of you 

by the 

hearing 

of the ear 

but now 

my eye 

sees you. 

I am so grateful to St Thomas. He teaches me, then reminds me year after year, that most of my job is just  showing up, just being there, (especially when times are hard) whenever “there,”happens to be. In the family. At church. In them community. Which is sometimes absolutely as much as I can do - and more. And if I blow it one time, that's not my only chance. AA keeps it simple:  “Suit how up and  show up.”
