for
his
mercy endures forever.
* When I talk about the Octave of Easter I always think of my Mom. A regular church-goer, one Easter
we arrived at their house for Eater dinner and I asked how church was. “I didn’t go" she said. She was too busy getting ready for the family, but she didn't say that. “You didn’t go on Easter? “I asked, aghast. “Oh”, she replied sanguinely, "I’ll get my Easter Communion within the Octave….”
