        I waited 

        patiently 

        for the 

        Lord…He 

        lifted me 

        out of 

        the mire 

        and clay 

        He set 

        my feet upon a high cliff and

                    made my footing sure.

This is a card 

I got from a dear 

friend decades ago.

Inside she had written-

- one thing about cliff dancing 

- the view is superb. She was right. 

Still is. And a much repsonse than mine-

       Woah!This is your idea of sure footing!??
