God 

has 

spoken 

once,

twice 

have I 

heard 

it, that 

power

belongs

to God.

Our way of being Church is based on the 3 legged stool of Scripture, tradition and  reason, the Anglican Via Media., which is em-bodied to me in Richard Hooker 1535-1600 the, English priest & theolog-ian, embodies  “Grant that we may maintain that mid-dle way, not as a compromise for the sake of peace, but as a comprehension for the sake of truth.” - Collect

                                Oh, may thy servants, 

                              faithful, true and bold,

                                   fight as the saints 

                              who nobly fought of old,

                                  and win with them 

                            the victor’s crown of gold, 

                                     alleluia alleluia.
