Today we remember the Feast of St Matthias, selected to be the 12th apostle in those nine long days and nights of waiting and unknowing between Jesus’ Ascension and the coming of the Holy Spirit, to replace Judas Iscariot, replacing Judas Iscariot the betrayer.
