Grant, O God, that your church may give itself continually to prayer and the reconciliation who are all 

who are in disagreement & mutual hatred.

              are actiually  “for the reconciliation of all 

             who are at variance AND (not even OR!) 

              enmity” which sounds so much less vis-

             cera & serious & thus far less relevant 

              to real life & so earier to skip over. .

I so love the Liturgical year! Here we are a million miles away from The Birth, then like turning a kaleidoscope, suddenly we are back with Mary Joseph taking Jesus to be presented in the 

temple, obeying he law of Mose. Well worn 

ritual here. Until  Enter Simeon and Anna 

enter.... The beginning for some is the 

fulfillment for others.
