grant

 that

   we

    may

      be knit together

in unity by your your Spirit

Saints Peter and Paul,

he first apostle called

at the beginning of

Jesus' ministry and

the last, and only

 after Jesus’ death

& resurrection; one

pictured with keys.

the other ,a sword;

both together pivot-

al in the early church,

and both  martyred at Rome, having   each stood  firm upon the one foundation.  There’s room for all of us.

                                                   ____Wisdom  19:6,7, 22_

For

the whole

creation in

its nature

was fashion-

ed anew Dry

land emerging

where water

hadhad stood

before, an unhindered way out of the Red Sea, and a grassy plane out of the raging waves where those protected by your hand pass through as one And in everything,

Lord,…you have not neglected

to help them at all times

and in all places.

* Today we remember

Lady Julian  (1342 - 1417)

anchoress, who lived in a

 room attached to the church

in  Norwich, England at the

time of the Black Death. With

one window into the church

and one onto the town square,

she was not a hermit, but lived

poised between the two worlds.

      “All shall be well,

and all shall be well, and

all manner of things shall be well.

Thursday evening

       The

        man

    from

   whom

        the

    demons

had gone

   begged

     that he

   might be

    with him;

but Jesus sent him away, saying

                               "Return to your home

                and declare how how much

God has done for you."                                            So he went away,

                     proclaiming... how much

                         Jesus has done for him.
