grant that 

we may 

know and

understand 

what things 

we ought to do and may have grace & 

power to faithfully accomplish them

       I am 

convinced 

that neither death, nor life, nor angels,   

nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to 

come, nor height, nor depth nor anything else in all creation, 

will be able to separate us from the 

love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Today in our Anglican heritage we remember Ethelbert, the Saxon King of Kent who became the first English monarch to convert to Christianity, died 612 and his wife, Bertha, a French Christian princess who became his Queen and died in 616.
