understand the gifts bestowed on us by God.

                            through the Holy Spirit 

                                 that has been given to us.

Yesterday was the day of the accident in 1989 

when Gordon became quadriplegic and our life 

ended and another began.  Right after Gordon 

died 19 years later, and six weeks before Mom

died, she sent me a quote by Peter Gomes 

who was an author and a chaplain at Harvard:

                                                 Hope is that which 

                                      gets us through & beyond 

            when the worst that can happen, happens.

They were always , as we continue to be, 

unclear as to  the concept. Aren't 

aren’t you grateful that this 

deal isn’t up to us?
