_The Invitatory_______________________________

                         “Lord, open our lips."

                  “And our mouth shall 

   proclaim your praise.” 

             

I’ve been jumping right to the psalms and readings of late rather than reading all of Morning Prayer, but this morning I began at the beginning.      God smiled and said: “Look no further, sweets: that’s your verse.”   Oh. Sometimes all I need to do is to begin at the beginning.
