king-

dom of 

priests, 

O Lord,

to serve our God and Father.

The son of an Episcopal priest, he became Bishop of the Diocese of Utah. A committed pacifist, when Wold War 1 broke out in  1914, he spoke out again-st it and was ultimately forced to resign his see.
