Let my prayer be set forth in your sight as incense, 

the lifting up 

of my hands as the  evening sacrifice.

listen

Lord God is saying, 

for he is speaking peace 

to his faithful people, and to

those who turn their hearts to him. 

Today we remember Monnica, 331- 387, mother of Augustine of Hippo.

Like his mother, Augustine

 born in Thaagast , North 

Africa, now Souk Ahras & 

he died in Hoippo, the modern

city of Annaba, in Algeria.  
Pray 

for all mothers, 

and for perseverance.
