I read Evening Prayer and got nothing. 

The collect for tomorrow. Nothing. 

Mell,  maybe I could make do with ....

        …. but what about an image? 

                 And God asked, quietly

                       Did I give you a verse?” 

                         “ No."   

                              "Then you don’t have one.

  Satisfy us

       by your   

         loving- 

     kindness

       in 

        the 

        morning;

           so  shall  we rejoice 

                  &  be glad  all the days of our life.

And on our civil calendar,  it is the 166th anniversary of Juneteenth,  our newest 

national holiday , when the news of the end of 

slavery finally reached Galveston Texas  2 

years after the Emancipation Proclamation. 

Pray that this

  brings us

 one step 

closer to 

being 

truly 

the UNITED States of America,

from sea to shining sea.
