                           The first words 
                        at Morning Prayer* 

    

      

      Lord, 

      open 

      our 

      lips. 

      And 

      our 

      mouth 

      shall proclaim your praise. 

       Glory to the Father and to the 

       Son and to the Holy Spirit, 

       as it was in the beginning, 

       is now & will be for ever. 

       Amen. Alleluia.           

       *throughout not just 

       the Anglican Communion,

       but throughout the monastic

       world as a whole for centuries 

       in both theEastern & Western Church.
