           Oh, 

           that 

           today 

           you 

           would

           hearken

           to God’s voice! 

           it is not you who support the root, 

                     but the root who supports you 

 Open our eyes, we pray, as you opened the eyes of your servant  Tikhon that we may see the faithful-ness of others as we strive to be steadfast 

to the faith  delivered  

to us that the world may 

see  and know you            - Collect 

I ask your prayers 

for our Russian Orthodox brother and sisters, 

and for the citizens and the governments officials 

of our respective counties.
