The Camino remains a popular route for pilgrims and hikers today.
The photogrpahs are by my cousin Christina who walked the Camino with her sister Nelia in 2015. The figs go
with the verse because I remember
our paternal grandmother picking figs
from the garden, peeling, slicing and serving them to me with cream and sugar when I was really little. Yum!
I picked the picture of St James because it has his brother John and his father Zebedee and the story of our cll always involes others.
Where we begin does not look much like where we end up, and therein lies the tale for us all.
