                                        Benedictus es, Domine

Glory

to 

you, 

behold-

ing 

the 

depths:

in the high vault 

of heaven, glory to you.

The Viking raids of the previous 

century  had decimated monasti-

-icism in England  and St Dunstan 

was largely responsible for its restoration  for which we as a Communion are grateful, since 

the Prayer Book Daily Offices 

are largely the monastic offices 

made available for use by 

clergy and laity alike. 

                                 Pray today 

for a deepened commitment to  the Christian life: for monasteries of men and women nd those who serve God there,: for those who explore the relationship between religion and culture and for musicians and artists.
