Today the Lutheran calendar remembers Soren Kierkegaard, (1813-1855) theologian and the father or modern existentialism.

What 

if I 

had not believed that I should  see the goodness of the Lord

in the land of  the living?

Life can only be understood backwards but it must 

be lived forwards.

Pray for grace to search our souls and know ourselves,  for courage to reject false security in the search for truth, to risk all for the sake of Christ. Pray also for all tormented souls.
