  Noah … they were  eating  & drinking, 
  marrying    & giving in marriage 
  until the day Noah entered the 
  ark…  so too will be the com-
  ing of the Son of Man…  

                                      Keep awake therefore,
                                for you do not know 

                        on what day your

                Lord is coming.

 *Lillian Trasher (1887-1961)                           Missionary in Egypt        

 American born, Lillian Trasher felt called to go to Egypt where she and her sister set up in he village of Asyut near the Nile. In time, she  established an  orphanage which remains open today.  Her 50 year ministry spanned both World Wars. She  became known as the “Mother of the Nile”
