The Feast of The Ascension, May 30, 2019

                                                 _Acts of the Apostles 1:9-11_ 

   

                 As 

                   they

                     were 

                   watch-

                         ing,

                     Jesus 

                        was 

                     lifted 

                          up, 

                     and a 

                      cloud 

                    took him out of their sight. 

                  While he was going and they 

              were gazing up toward heaven,

           suddenly two men in white robes   

       stood by them. They said “ …why

 do you stand looking upward…? "

out of compassion 

     for us,

         Christ

              descended 

                    from 

                        heaven 
and although he ascended 
       alone, we also ascend  be-
         cause we are in him by grace.
