      On the morning of May 6, 1975 I received the priceless gift of sobriety, or as my friend Robert says Slowbriety, and my life went from end of track black to technicolor. Knowing that sobriety is a joint venture, Thank You to all of you who have helped me along the way, wept and mourned with me, celebrated and rejoiced with me, and persevered with me all these may years. As this 3 x 5 card says from Brother Boniface  OHC, 1969:
