The Lord is 

glorious 

in his 

saints; 

Come, 

let us 

adore him. 

I love the fact that this picture became a little blurry when enlarged, since we have no earthly idea what Matthias looked like. We only know that he was chosen to take his place as an Apostle after the betrayal and death of Judas. Both he and Joseph Barsabbas were nominated and qualified, meaning that they had been followers  "during all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from the baptism of John" and continuing on through the resurrection and the ascension, according to Luke in early part of he Acts of the Apostles. What became of either one we do not know, but we can assume that, having come that far, both continued to bear witness to “that which we had heard and known” as the psalmist says, Matthias as the one numbered among the 12 and Joseph who disappeared into that huge crowd of unnamed, anonymous but beloved followers.  And down through the ages, and still still today, the Lord is glorious in his saints - those who witness to him through our various personalities and circumstances. Come, let us adore him.
