Remember today
those German Jews who died on the the night of November 9th, 1938 when “Nazi storm troopers throughout Germany
mounted a
coordinated assault against the Jewish
Community.” (Give Us This Day) 75,ooo Jewish-owned shops were destroyed:
the shattered windows gave rise to the name Kristallnacht - Crystal Night. May we never forget and always be vigilant against the damage done first to the human heart, and then to the human family, by the incipient forces of bigotry and hatred against peoples and religions.
