The above picture, serene and beautiful, was wrong for where I was going this morning. This is more what I was feeling, with MAry holding her swollen belly.  You can’t see the donkey but Mary, 9 months pregnant, is bumping along in its back, sucking the dust of the road and wondering... This surely wasn't what she had envisioned. We so easily romanticize the whole thing and lose it....
