is the
day,
yours also
the night, you established the moon and the stars,
you made both summer and winter…
This is not moon set this morning
though it could well have been with the moon just off from full and the flowering pear across the street in bloom as I noticed just today that it is. In early March, 1989, when Gordon and I were driving up the Central Valley on vacation, the last thing I saw before the tire blew and Gordon was instantly made quadriplegic were Orchrds of blossoming fruit trees on both sides of the road and I remember feeling that all was right with the world.
