Mark 1:19-20
Jesus saw James, son of Zebedee & his brother John who were n the boat mending the nets. Immediately he called them & they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired man & followed him.
Bishop Wolterstorff, the first Bishop of San Diego, was elected from St James-by-the-Sea, which is why our diocesan shield has a tiny shell, symbol of St James, at the bottom of it.
