Easter Antiphon
on Psalm 114
He has deliv-ered
us
from the dominion of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of his Son, hallelujah.
* In the Anglican Communion we do not celebrate saints days during Holy Week or Easter Week, But luckily Give Us This Day rholds up before us this day of remembrance. Beginning on April 7, 1994, “the Hutu militia began the wholesale extermination of their Tutsi neighbors and moderate Hutus. In the course of 100 days nearly a million people were killed. Armed UN peacekeepers stood by and watched, under orders not to to intervene except to protect Europeans…”
