* The Lutheran service Book Commemorates the patriarch Abraham today. And, of course, we would add Sarah, without whom he never would have become “the father of many nations,” as many as the sand on the seashore.I love this because we talked about Father Abraham yesterday at Children’s Chapel and sang: 

              Father Abraham had many kids, many kids has Father                      Abraham, and I am one of them, and so are you so,              

         let’s all praise the Lord!
